Philosophy
Attorney Jin Kim seeks practical solutions for every tax problem. Whereas some tax litigation attorneys pursue ‘aggressive’ representation without regard to mounting legal fees, attorney Jin Kim seeks cost-effective solutions. In many cases, those cost-effective solutions include negotiating installment agreements or proposing offers in compromise.
Flat Fees
One aspect of Ms. Kim’s practice that sets her apart from many tax attorneys is her willingness to take on cases for affordable flat fees. In practice, many tax attorneys charge a large retainer fee and bill against it according to their hourly rate. In contrast, Jin Kim takes on collection defense cases for a flat fee. Many clients find that flat fees are preferable to hourly billing as they know exactly how much it will cost to hire an attorney to perform a specific task.
